I finally made enough progress on the Revell 1/144 space shuttle with New Ware upgrade to show. I still have a lot of detail work to be made in the payload bay area-stay tuned for a later installment of that.
Here's what I have done thus far. Scratch-built hi-gain antenna. Notched Evergreen strips for the payload bay door radiators. |
Another angle. Shuttle windows were masked-off and paint and thin putty was applied to made distinct panes. |
The Warbirds 1/144 shuttle tile decals. With pastels for weathering the results are fairly nice! |
Detail shot of the SSME's and OMS thrusters -all from the New Ware detail set! |
Another angle of the SSME's and other details from the New Ware set. |
A close of the the forward RCS. Again from the New Ware set. I had to kitbach/scratch the docking airlock in the payload bay. |
