Rob Schorry's Lunar Orbiter

Between 1966 through 1967 the United States launch five unmanned lunar orbiter missions with the missions of mapping the surface of the moon for the pending Apollo program. The end result of all five successful Lunar Orbiter missions was 99% of the lunar surface was imaged with a resolution of down to one meter.



Below is a photo essay of a scratch project of a lunar orbiter in 1/24 scale.
